The Sokos Presidentti Hotel is a purpose built property housed in a large not terrible attractive concrete building. The spacious lobby creates a welcoming atmosphere through extensive use of marble, brass and glass fittings, as well as an abundance of potted plants. The medium sized guestrooms feature pastel décor and dark wooden furniture. They are only in fair condition, as are the en suite bathrooms, and would benefit from some refurbishment. Pleasantly appointed with cane furniture and more foliage, the restaurant serves international cuisine and Finnish specialities from an à la carte menu.
